Rt Revd Graham James
Graham James became Bishop of Norwich in 1999, serving for almost 20 years in that role before retiring to his native Cornwall. He entered the House of Lords in 2004. Among his national responsibilities in the Church of England he was lead bishop on media issues for a long period, and served on the Lords Select Committee on Communications. For more than a decade, he was a frequent presenter of Radio 4’s “Thought for the Day”. Earlier in his career he travelled widely when serving at Lambeth Palace, and has lectured on cruises for the past 25 years, mainly on historical subjects.
